This Birthday Hits Different

It’s my birthday today — 39 years around the sun.

But what’s hitting me this year isn’t the number...

It’s how different this moment feels.

Last year around this time, I was burned out — physically, emotionally, spiritually.

So we did something drastic.

We moved to Honduras.

And the clarity I was searching for?

It came — along with slower mornings, deeper love, and a reset I didn’t even know I needed.

Let me catch you up real quick.

**What’s Been Going On:** - 💼 **Job Layoff:** Let go from my 9-to-5 in fall 2023 — a blessing in disguise that helped me realign with purpose. - 🎾 **Tennis Champion:** Won a tournament in Florida + placed 3rd nationally in San Diego at the 3.0 level - ✈️ **Moved to Honduras:** Living between the village of Aguan and La Ceiba with my wife’s family — sometimes 10 people deep in one house. - 🧒🏽 **Fatherhood:** Watching my son Sage grow up bilingual, surrounded by cousins, and thriving in a new culture. - 💻 [Soulcessful.co](https://www.soulcessful.co)**:** Continuing to build and refine my work through Human Design — helping people realign with their true selves and make decisions with clarity and ease. - 📺** **[@Soulcessful](https://www.youtube.com/@Soulcessful)** Youtube**: I have also been creating videos on Youtube every week. - 🧠 **Reconnecting with Passion:** Playing with AI tools, building again, returning to the creative, system-loving side of myself. - 💡 **Perspective Shift:** Drive is back—but this time, it’s rooted in purpose, not pressure.

**Birthday Reflection**

This season feels like a rebirth.

It’s not about chasing “success” the way I used to define it.

It’s about alignment.

It's about being Soulcessful.

Legacy.

Family.

And joy.

Being laid off gave me time to sit still.

Moving gave me space to reconnect.

And watching Sage grow up bilingual, loving life, has reminded me why we do all of this.
