Thank you for the responses ❤️

May 19, 2026 / Original Kit letter

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who responded to my last email.

Seriously.

I read every message.

Some of you shared that you’re also in a season of slowing down.

Leaving cities. Reconnecting with family. Letting go of survival work.

Trying to build a life that actually feels sustainable instead of constantly urgent.

And honestly…

It made me feel less alone in this season too.

One message that stayed with me was from someone who left NYC and returned home to help care for aging parents while rebuilding life from a slower, more intentional place.

They described the winter as feeling like “a reconnection, hibernation, and its own type of retreat.”

That line really stuck with me.

One because part of us being in Honduras is to help with aging family.

And two because I think many of us are realizing that rest is not always a reward after the work.

Sometimes the stillness is the work.

And for people who are used to constantly producing, solving, leading, and carrying pressure…

That can feel deeply uncomfortable at first.

I know it has for me.

There’s a part of me that still wants to speed up. Push harder. Force momentum. Stay mentally “on.”

But I’m slowly learning that clarity often shows up after the nervous system stops bracing.

And many of the responses I received reflected the same thing:

People are craving calmer spaces. Cleaner conversations. Less noise. More intentionality. More grounded connection.

Not necessarily isolation from life…

But environments where they can finally hear themselves again.

That’s becoming a bigger part of the work I want to create moving forward.

Yes, through retreats here in Honduras.

But also through smaller spaces online that carry the same energy.

One of those spaces is called The Next Move Room.

It’s a live online working session for founders, operators, creatives, and people carrying a lot mentally.

Not a webinar. Not a lecture. Not “10 hacks to scale your business.”

Just a calm working room for the business problem, decision, follow-up, or mental loop that keeps taking up space in your head.

Bring one current problem.

We sort through what’s actually stuck underneath it. Separate signal from noise. And leave with one clear next move.

That’s it.

Simple. Grounded. Useful.

A place to think clearly again with other people who are also trying to build intentionally.

The New Move Room — Wednesdays @ 12-1 PM ET / 9-10 AM PT

If that feels supportive for the season you’re in, I’d love to have you there.

And again, thank you for the messages, reflections, and honesty.

I genuinely appreciate you guys and gals more than you know.

— JP
